“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” — Albert Einstein
My name is Amez Azizi, I am an 18 year old student, aspiring to be a world leader in the IT industry. My interest in IT began in highschool as I decided to apply to be a student tech, staying back for a few hours every week after school to do routine check ups on school computers and printers, ensuring that students would not have any issues the next day.
I loved not only finding problems but then coming up with and testing different solutions to solve the problems and putting in measures to prevent the problems from arising again.
This lead to me choosing IT as an elective subject in year 11. Being one of three females in a class of very skilled and experienced students was intimidating and almost scared me out of IT for good but learning basic HTML and CSS motivated my hunger to conquer more coding languages and program exciting and interesting things like games and apps.
Taking on Software Development in year 12 lead to me building up my knowledge in JavaScript and PHP in order to develop databases and websites as a part of our final assessments.
The freedom of coding in comparison to its and rule restraints in programming suits my creative style very well as I enjoyed being able to make new things and see the results while also following guidelines that ensured my ideas would not only be correctly translated but also work.
My original plan was not to continue into IT after highschool however after two long years of comfortably coding and learning new things about technology and its impact on the world around me, I made a last minute decision to put all my preferences as IT courses.
I want to spend my life learning and building on my knowledge so I can help others in their own lives and businesses to have an easier technological experience.
